Tim Overland, the Managing Partner of Overland Real Estate, has over two decades of real estate experience. He has been involved in several billion dollars of real estate transactions and has had oversight for a national portfolio of multifamily assets totaling over 15,000 units. 

Prior to establishing Overland Real Estate, Tim was the President of Security Properties and had management responsibility for its ground-up development, affordable housing, asset management, and property management divisions. Prior to his role as President of the company, Tim also served as the Managing Director for the Affordable Housing business and later the Chief Operating Officer for the enterprise. In 2010, Tim helped launch an in-house property management company (now Security Properties Residential), and today that business has well over 12,000 units under management. 

Tim's prior work also includes real estate investment management, consulting, and valuation.  

Tim is an Affiliate Instructor for the Runstad Department of Real Estate at the University of Washington, where he has taught undergraduate and graduate coursework in real estate valuation and real estate development.

Tim is involved in the community as an advisor for Bellwether Housing and Upper Valley MEND, and formerly as a board member of Washington Wild and Common Ground.
